For most people, playing a round of golf is a way to relax and enjoy the outdoors. For others, golf is about having FUN with friends. For Us...we decided to host an event that gives us the best of both!

For years, Christy hosted a private golf event calling it "The Duffer". Duff means "hitting the ball poorly". Friends and Family gathered from all over to play a round of golf, with no worries about how well they were playing. The goal was to have fun! 

We decided to continue the tradition that Christy started years ago. In 2020, The Duffer Open was established in memory of Christy. 

We are hosting our 4th Annual Duffer Open on Saturday August 26th, 2023 on the Mendota Golf Course.
